Deephaven Academy
Social, Classical and Multi-Sensory Curriculum

Students at Deephaven Academy focus on key areas of learning including:

Core Knowledge: A cumulative curriculum in which the knowledge and skills learned each year become the students’ foundation for learning in subsequent years. The movement, started by Professor E.D. Hirsch, Jr. is built on the belief that early schooling should provide a solid, specific, shared core curriculum in order to help children establish strong foundations of knowledge. Today Core Knowledge has become a widely accepted educational movement throughout the United States.
